About Me
I was born in St. Joseph, Michigan, but spent most of my younger years in Traverse City, Michigan. I moved to and attended Western Michigan University (GO BRONCOS!) in 2002. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science in April 2007. I student taught 10th and 11th graders at Comstock High School also in 2007 in the subjects of Government, Economics, and U.S. History. I worked with students throughout the Kalamazoo area as a substitute teacher for the remainder of 2007 and into 2008. In August 2008, I started a position as a Government/Economics teacher at Lakewood High School in Sumter, South Carolina. Missing my home state a lot, I moved back to Michigan after the conclusion of the school year. I was excited to hear the call to teach at the new and beautiful Linden Grove Middle School, and want to make this year fun and successful for you/your child.
